The village is located on the Devon/Dorset border and is a great base for exploring both counties. There are many interesting walks around the village itself. The River Axe is rich in wildlife and great for bird watching, fishing and canoeing. A short walk downstream, along picturesque riverbanks, will take you first to Axmouth harbour and then to the popular seaside resort of Seaton packed with shops, restaurants and coffee shops. It also has a lovely pebbled beach and open top trams which will take visitors for a trip along the river to Colyford and Colyton. This spacious accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: large master double with en-suite shower room and WC, 1 further double and 1 twin room. Bathroom: with shower over the bath and WC. Lounge: offers large flatscreen 3D TV with Blu-ray/DVD and Freeview. In addition there is a snug, just off the lounge, with a day bed (please see Additional info below). Kitchen/diner: large, with integrated oven and hob, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Outside: the rear enclosed, landscaped garden offers patio area with garden furniture. Amenities: allocated off-road parking for 1 car, with further unrestricted roadside parking. Bed linen, electric and central heating included. Towels available for hire. Regret no smoking. Regret no pets. Additional info: regret no children under 5 years. £150 security deposit payable by cheque 2 weeks prior to arrival, direct to the owners. The property can sleep a seventh person, by arrangement, using the day bed. An extra charge applies when the extra bed is made up and is payable, prior to arrival, direct to the owners.
